Dear All, Well I have taken the plunge & have entered for the Intermediate Flour Milling Technology Examination which I hope to take next March—if I am home in time. I hope I shall be able to arrange it so that I visit various Mills to see how the machinery works in practice. I have really managed to get down to it & have been studying hard almost continuously since last May & have done well over half the syllabus already. I find it very interesting although somewhat difficult to visualize the machinery with only diagrams to go on. Ronnie Down has been most helpful & is sitting me an examination on what I have already done in about three weeks time. I am partaking in a variety show [censored text] I am one of the chorus girls—you should see my Super Pooper Doopers!! Glad to hear 70 more certificates to my credit—I think the Admiralty only pay in £10 a month to my bank—the remainder that is about another quarter is standing to my credit with the Naval accountants so with extras should come out with at least £1000 which as you say will be a very useful nest-egg—Give my regards to all the Boys Doreen. Have not heard from them this year.
Love to you all
