Have just had word from Nell about the concert including (unfortunately) the words of the celebrated and most August Bridle which sent me into a towering rage which I controlled admirably, merely resulting visually in a tender pinking behind the ears. I was obliged to write the letter, a copy of which you have, and am hoping his dear old ears will pink up a bit. I won't repeat myself here.* That'll fix him -- probably fix me too. Anyway Congratulations Harry!! What did you think of your idea "in the flesh" You must have been pleased to have such a grand opportunity to hear it. I shall be interested to hear a word picture of it all, and your feelings. †
I have purchased your 'book' Ruth and am putting it in my crate of books -- Don't know how I'm going to get them back -- when -- I -- come -- back.
Harry, I have not been able to find out about Wm Walton and am leaving next week for unknown places but if you know his address I will see him when I return, if in the meantime you can let me know his address.
Well I must say 'bye now'
I am dreaming a lot these "days" and I think lots of things about you, often, but they are not in words, so I guess I can't say any more. You have some earlier efforts where I try, but it is just messy.
*not to be taken too seriously
†seriously though
