"A Tour of Coach House Press", 2009
Description: 
Author of case studies on Stan Bevington and a concise history of Coach House Press; Producer/Director “A Tour of Coach House Press” Sarah Hipworth has a Masters of English Literature degree from McGill University. She did an internship at Coach House Books in Summer 2007 for her Masters of Publishing degree with Simon Fraser University. She currently works as an editor in Toronto. Cinematographer for “A Tour of Coach House Press” Nelson Rogers studied photography at Humber College and film at Vancouver Film School. He has been Director of Photography on over 40 short films and TV pilots, on two feature-length films, and on over 150 sketches for CBC’s Royal Canadian Air Farce. Video Editor, “A Tour of Coach House Press” Sam Hall is a freelance editor based out of Toronto. He has worked on various projects from short films to features, and anything in between. He has a passion for editing and has been a part of the city's film industry for almost ten years.

Stan, It's great to see the Coach House again after all these years. I recognise the letterpress (+ Gordon), the typecases and especially the linotype--remember that was my baby back in the late sixties--yes, I typset Dainty Monsters! However, I don't recognise the environment at all--looks a lot more user friendly now. Great to see you too Stan!

Great to see this video. I still have some of my SoftQuad business cards with the logo imprint done on your press. I still keep in touch with as many of the SQ and ex-Coach House Press folks as I can.
